There’s a real buzz happening around a relatively new berry super-food from the Amazon, ACAI (pronounced ah-sigh-ee).

The Acai berry is known to:

  • enhance sleep;
  • assist in weight loss by reducing appetite & boosting metabolism;
  • increase exercise ability;
  • boost & extend energy & stamina levels;
  • boost libido;
  • increase concentration & alertness;
  • reduce stress;
  • boost serotonin & dopamine production;
  • strengthen the heart, circulation & veins;
  • regulate blood pressure;
  • balance cholesterol levels;
  • regulate glucose & lipid levels;
  • help diabetics;
  • protect against macular degeneration;
  • reduce the effects of free radicals on cellular function;
  • prevent prostate enlargement;
  • lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease;
  • lower risk of breast, skin, stomach & lung cancers;
  • reduce acid reflux;
  • help asthmatics;
  • heal ulcers;
  • minimise bone injuries & degeneration;
  • whiten teeth;
  • fight off gingivitis & other tooth & gum problems;
  • reduce menstrual pain;
  • protect skin damage, including wrinkles;
  • feed all the organs, muscles, skin, hair & nails;
  • alleviate pain & inflammation;
  • boost the immune system;
  • and so much more…

I have personally had fast  positive effects from drinking a 90 ml super-charged, great tasting, non-carbonated mix of Acai & grape, pear, pomegranate, kiwi, apricot & blueberry… Yummm – perfect to take before training, as a pick-me-up at work, or as a healthy alternative to Red Bull or Mother – I’m hooked!!
