So our kids won’t live as long as us?

The latest talk from the World Health Organisation is that for the first time in history, our kids and their kids will not live as long as us and our fore-fathers.  With all the technology and wondrous so-called treatments and therapies for cancer and other diseases, we ask why not?

Well, duuhh – it’s right in front of our faces and obvious what is going on – unhealthy cells produce even unhealthier cells.  So, two not so healthy (even though we think we might be) people get lucky enough to reproduce and a seemingly healthy bambino is expected to endure an onslaught of toxins from the moment of conception – toxins from food, water, cleaning products, pesticides, herbicides, pharmaceuticals, radiation, building materials, the environment, not to mention the numerous toxic potions and lotions mum and dad have slathered on themselves and plan to lather on their beautiful newborn!  It’s any wonder why there are so many miscarriages, so many malformations, so many couples unable to conceive, and so many childhood cancers, SIDS cases and ADD/ADHD.

A minority of people who have opened their minds and done their own research have found that being exposed to even a small amount of pesticides within the home can be attributed to serious illnesses and can be masked as ADD/ADHD, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, headaches, nausea, tiredness, and the list goes on….

Most of my generation and our parents at least had a positive head-start in life with organically grown fruit and vegetables.  What hope do our kids have?

A great book to read on environmental illness is “Children of a Toxic Harvest” by Eve Hillary…  Ask me where you can get it and at the same time, ask me how you can reduce the toxic load on your body, your family’s bodies, your home and the environment…

To a healthier, longer living You!
